Who are we?

We’re Dian and Martine van der Wal, and together with our three children — Ezra, Evie and Seth — we live in beautiful Värmland, Sweden, right beside the river Klarälven.

We were both born and raised in the Netherlands, but in 2021 we decided to follow our dream: to move to Sweden for more space, more nature, and a life where our dogs could truly be part of our family. With our two Australian Labradoodles, Soof and Suus, we found exactly that.

From our home, we run our small family kennel — Klarälven Doodles. Here, our dogs grow up surrounded by forests, fresh air and freedom. They’re part of our daily family life, joining us on walks, playing with the kids, and bringing us joy (and muddy paws!) every day.

In the summer of 2023, we welcomed our first two litters — an unforgettable experience that confirmed how special it is to see happy, healthy puppies bring love into new families.
